Gift Certificate of Eternal LifeThe gift certificate from our God of grace offers each of us a key to the door of Heaven. The gift certificate promises eternal blissful joy with our God forever. Gift Certificate from GodJesus identified himself as the One … who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. This refers to the coming Messiah from Isaiah. 22And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open (Isa. 22:22, KJV). Jesus overcame the forces of Satan and opened the door of Heaven for us. When Jesus opens the way to Heaven for us, nothing can shut it except our own actions. Jesus shut the door to protect our spirits from Satan’s kingdom of darkness. Jesus Christ paid for the gift certificate by his shed blood on the cross. All people need to do is accept his free offer and redeem the gift certificate of eternal salvation. Gift Certificate for ChristiansThe Almighty again promises his Christian Church that if they hang on and win the victory, he will give them a, gift certificate, crown (stephanos).[i] The crown indicates eternal blessings that God gives as a prize to the genuine servants of God.
Gift Certificate Promise gives Eternal LifeOur Savior is … coming soon. John wrote this some 1900 years ago. Soon or quickly means immediately. A few hours before Jesus was arrested and crucified, he gave words of comfort and promise to his disciples. 1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:1–3, KJV). After our Redeemer rose from death on the cross, he returned to Heaven and prepared a place for all his present and future children. Our Savior came back each time one of his disciples died and escorted them to his home in Heaven. Gift Certificate for HeavenThe Savior of the World comes back today to meet each saint after his or her physical death. Our Faithful and True God then authenticates their gift certificate of redemption. If the gift certificate is genuine he takes them right through the open door into Heaven. Our All-Wise God who richly supplies then takes them down mansion avenue: he helps each saint pick a special home for eternity. Jesus encouraged the Christians to hold on because he would make them … a pillar in the temple of my God. This had a special meaning to the God’s elect at Philadelphia. The city sat on a fault line; earthquakes shook them year after year. None of the buildings remained permanent. Our Eternal Creator promised them a permanent place in his Temple in Heaven. Life in Heaven is not for a short time: life in Heaven lasts forever. That is a long, long, time. Christian Destination—HeavenOur Lord promises that he would … write on him the name of his God, the name of the city, and his new name. When I mail a package, I always write on the package the name of the person, the address of the city, and my name so it doesn’t get lost. Our Father doesn’t take a chance on any of his children losing their way to Heaven. He identifies them with his name, the name of the city New Jerusalem, and the name of the sender Jesus Christ. Father we thank you for the free gift certificate that you offer us. Help us to always appreciate the gift certificate of eternal life that you guarantee us here on earth.
